Established in the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family business in the Northern Italy's largest industrial place. Throughout the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, various types of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming equipments.
In the year 1963, the business started crane production. The business eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
